Front Line Assembly has gone through a slight change since their 2001 release, “Epitaph.” Chris Peterson left FLA, and original member, Rhys Fulber returned to work once again with Bill Leeb. The results of the “re-changing of the guard” can be seen in FLA’s newest single, “Maniacal.” Dark, futuristic, and melodic, the single’s impact that it will have on the world of electronic music cannot be placed into words. It is something that one must experience for themselves. Once again, FLA has raised the bar for the rest to catch up to. On Metropolis.
